Yes, you can budget the audit fee into the grant application.

Auditors usually price their engagement based on a few considerations:

  1. How big is the amount? (e.g. $10k expenses vs $1m expenses - the work they need to put in is different)

  2. Number of transactions

  3. Type of organisation (e.g. large charity with track record vs new charities) - may have risk premium

If your organisation does not have many transactions, it may cost about ~$1,500 to $3,000.

You can visit the NCSS website to check for auditors that may be able to provide special rates to nonprofits or social enterprises.

Other grantmakers (e.g. Enterprise Singapore, whom you may be able to get a grant from if you are a social enterprise) may have a panel of auditors where the price is fixed.
